The Bamboo Dome

We went to the forest behind desasiswa restu to cut bamboo at 3pm.This is the way we walk to find bamboo clusters.


This is me who is cutting the bamboo.

Chai and me were carrying bamboo.
This is my group members,Chai Yahn Rur and Chan Shie Kee,transfering the bamboo to the roadside from the forest.


Until the night falls.we were still transfering the bamboo.

The Process of Making the Geodesic Dome
1. First of all,there are several materials needed to do this geodesic dome.

A masking tape.


Bamboo sticks

2. Then measure the bamboo sticks with different length according to the 'Dome Calculator' website.

3. Cut the bamboo sticks into respective length measured.

The are 3 categories of length for the bamboo.Strut A : 52.29mm(30 sticks)
Strut B : 60.53mm(55 sticks)
Strut C : 61.86mm(80 sticks)

4. Then we can start to construct the dome according to the diagram in the website of 'Dome Calculator'.

5. Finally,my geodesic dome with radius 150mm is done!

Virtual Construction

Intention : To serve a meal
Act : Putting the fried potatoes from the wok to the plate
Actor : My mother
Place : My house's kitchen .This is the place where my mother always cook every meal for us.
Product : The dish - fried potatoes is the product of my mother .

Place : Jalan Teluk Sisek,Kuantan,Pahang. This is a street where I used to take from downtown of Kuantan to my house.

Rule : Cars stop at the junction and wait in lane when the traffic light is red.

Product : The banner on the lamp post is the product of grafic designer.
